Mina is the Princess of Venus, and transforms
into the Dynamic Fighter, Sailor Venus. Before Mins joined the Sailor Senshi (in the Japanese version) she fought crime in
England as Sailor V. After her heart was broken by a friend (Katakari, I think), Mina returned to Japan where her Gaurdian
Cat, Artemis, brought her to meet Luna and the 4 inner Senshi. Mina attends 8th grade at the private Grass Valley Junior High
(Shibakouen in Japan) and is fluent in the English language. Mina is the most friendly and likable of the 5 Scouts, and cares
deeply about her family, friends, and small children. She also enjoys shopping, volleyball, romantic action movies, and just
being mischevious.
Mina is an only child and lives with her parents in the city.
Note About Mina's Name: Minako Aino
first appeared in the Codename wa Sailor V manga in 1991, before the Bishojo Senshi Sailormoon series was created. Consequently,
her name and its alternate meaning don't fit within the established pattern, nor does her element of influence. She is always
on the lookout for a boyfriend and puts out a lot of energy on things she loves (volleyball, being an idol, ect.) But she
doesn't extend much energy on school.
